Beef and Pork

Pigs at Little Creek Farm grow up rooting grass, eating insects and reptiles, and playing together. Pigs are incredibly social creatures, and talk to each other nonstop while they eat, often pausing to run laps around their A-frame houses for the fun of it. We use our pigs to rejuvenate spent pasture, and to clear land for planting, which they do fantastically well! Our pigs are a mixture of Landrace, Yorkshire, and Spotted Black.

Cute little black and white piglet. We raise a limited number of Angus-mix beef cattle exclusively on pasture, and are moved to new pasture 1-2 times each day. The cattle are given hay when the grass is not offering enough nutrition, and given a supplement of organic grain just before slaughter to ensure well-marbled meat, but spend all their time with us eating fresh green grass as their primary food source. We also offer kelp and minerals free-choice to our cattle.

Beef and Pork are available by the cut at our markets and on the farm. In addition we offer reservations on half (pigs and cattle) or quarter (cattle only) animals. We accept orders anytime prior to November; pre-ordered halves and quarters are ready for pickup in November and December.
